A) WARRANTY CLAUSES AND CONDITIONS FOR RECONDITIONED ENGINE

1. General Terms of Sale:

1.1. The sale of parts by SantaremMOTOR is governed by these general conditions;1.2. The guarantee given was in common agreement between the customer and our company;1.3. The establishment of a commercial relationship establishes that the company and customer have accepted and agreed to these sales conditions;1.4. When ordering by the customer, SantaremMOTOR sends a proforma invoice and the present warranty conditions. The award thereof establishes the agreement between the parties.1.4.1. Contracted warranty periods agreed between both parties of 12, 24 or 36 months;1.5. Delivery times valid upon receipt of payment on account. Unless stock runs out or logistical delays;

2. Warranty conditions:

2.1. WARRANTY COVERAGE: The warranty covers exclusively the cylinder block and head;2.2. THE WARRANTY DOES NOT COVER:2.2.1. Engine assembly and disassembly labor;2.2.2. Consumables;2.2.3. Vehicle immobilization and transportation costs;2.3. Engine overhaul certified by the workshop required between 1000 and 1500 kilometers, to be sent by email to Garantias@santaremmotor.com;

3. When assembling the engine:

3.1. The engine is supplied without oil, so under no circumstances may it be operated without a minimum oil level;3.2. Checking the oil pressure, when the vehicle model does not allow this to be checked on the dashboard – Mandatory video proof upon assembly;3.3. Mandatory checking of the injection and turbo system as well as checking of the exhaust system and catalytic converter;3.4. The following components must be replaced:3.4.1. Air filter(s), fuel filter(s) and thermostat;3.4.2. All models that use an oil exchanger/oil cooler, mandatory replacement of the part with a new one;3.4.3. The following must be checked: Oil seals, relays, timing chains and tensioners and vehicle cooling system;

4. Exclusion of Warranty:

4.1. Failure to use fuels, lubricants and consumables recommended by the manufacturer;4.2. Normal wear and tear of the product; including connecting rod bearings, crankshaft bearings and segments;4.3. Lack of inspection determined by the manufacturer;4.4. Defects caused by negligent use of the vehicle / poor handling thereof;

4.5. Defects caused by the product being used in conjunction with/or connected to any other product that is not in proper condition;4.6. This warranty does not apply if the product has been opened, altered or repaired by any entity other than the manufacturer or if it has been repaired using subsequent unauthorized parts or if the product's serial number is illegible;4.7. Failure to assemble in a certified specialized workshop;4.8. Assemblies carried out outside the manufacturer's compliance, namely applications, as well as those arising from damage caused voluntarily or involuntarily;4.9. Failure to send the warranty certificate (via e-mail, fax or post) duly completed with license plate and KM within 20 working days from the date of delivery;

5. We reserve the right to:

5.1. In case of return:5.1.1. Collective Company, the return amount will be issued in a credit note;5.1.2. End customer, the amount will be issued within a maximum period of 30 working days from the arrival of the product at our facilities;

6. Procedures in case of breakdown:

6.1. Move the vehicle to the workshop where the assembly was carried out;6.2. Request a technical report of the fault from the repair workshop;6.3. Send the periodic inspection certificate;6.4. Send the workshop report and the assembly and inspection invoices to: Garantias@santaremmotor.com;6.5. Wait for our technician to visit, if necessary;

  • No repairs should be started without our knowledge or prior authorization - the warranty is automatically void if the part supplied is tampered with.
  • Failure to follow the procedures in the event of a breakdown completely voids the warranty.
  • In the absence of documentation proving the replacement/revision of the components mentioned in Point 3, the engine will have to be dismantled and transported to our Workshop in order to be subjected to expert assessment and possible repair by our mechanic, this point being irrevocable.

7. Applicable law and jurisdiction:

The parties expressly declare that any dispute arising from this contract/guarantee will have territorial jurisdiction with the exception of another court, the judicial court of the district of Santarém


Reconditioned Engine Specifications: it is called a zero kilometer engine, as all the wear parts and components have been replaced with new parts, being fully restored to its original factory specifications:
- Complete disassembly of the engine for recovery
- Parts cleaning carried out
- Replacement of all worn parts and components with new parts
Composition:
- Block, Head, Carter and Distribution
- New parts included: Bearings, Pistons, Liners, Connecting rods, Caps, Segments, Head gasket, Oil pump, Timing kit with water pump



B) USED ENGINE WARRANTY CLAUSES AND CONDITIONS

2.1. WARRANTY COVERAGE: The warranty applies exclusively to the engine block and head, regardless of any additional components supplied;2.2. COMPONENTS NOT COVERED: Engine components that may accompany the engine upon delivery, but are excluded even during assembly: flywheel, injection pump, injectors, turbo, electric valves, EGR valve, oil exchanger/cooler, particle filter and any other component not mentioned in the previous point;2.3. THE WARRANTY DOES NOT COVER:2.3.1. Engine assembly and disassembly labor;2.3.2. Consumables;2.3.3. Vehicle immobilization and transportation costs;2.4. Required engine overhaul certified by the workshop, between 1000 and 1500 kilometers driven, to be sent by email to Garantias@santaremmotor.com;

3. When assembling the engine:

3.1. The engine is supplied without oil, so under no circumstances may it be operated without a minimum oil level;3.2. Checking the oil pressure, when the vehicle model does not allow this to be checked on the dashboard – A video confirmation is mandatory during assembly;3.3. The following components must be replaced:3.3.1. Air filter(s), fuel filter(s) and thermostat;3.3.2. All models that use an oil exchanger/oil cooler, the part must be replaced with a new one;3.4. The following must be checked: Oil seals, relays, timing chains and tensioners and the vehicle's cooling system;

4. Exclusion of Warranty:

C) GEARBOX WARRANTY CLAUSES AND CONDITIONS

1. General Terms of Sale:

1.1. The sale of parts by SantaremMOTOR is governed by these general conditions;1.2. The guarantee given was in common agreement between the customer and our company;1.3. The establishment of a commercial relationship establishes that the company and customer have accepted and agreed to these sales conditions;1.4. When placing an order by the customer, SantaremMOTOR sends a proforma invoice and the present warranty conditions. The award thereof establishes the agreement between the parties.1.4.1. Guarantee periods contracted and agreed between both parties of 6, 12 or 18 months on Used exchange rates;1.4.2. Warranty periods contracted and agreed between both parties of 12, 24 or 36 months on Refurbished exchanges;1.5. Delivery times valid upon receipt of payment on account. Unless stock runs out or logistical delays;

2. Warranty Conditions:

2.1. WARRANTY COVERAGE: The warranty covers exclusively the hull and internal mechanical components, regardless of any additional components supplied;2.2. COMPONENTS NOT COVERED: Gearbox components, namely valves, sensors and electrical and electronic modules and any other component not referred to in the previous point;2.3. THE WARRANTY DOES NOT COVER:2.3.1. Gearbox assembly and disassembly labour;2.3.2. Consumables (oils and others);2.3.3. Vehicle immobilisation and transport costs;

3.When assembling the gearbox:

3.1. The gearbox is supplied without oil, so under no circumstances should it be operated without the recommended level;3.2. The following components must be replaced:3.2.1. Dual/single-mass flywheel;3.2.2. Clutch kit;

4. Exclusion of Warranty:

4.1. Failure to use fuels, lubricants and consumables recommended by the manufacturer;4.2. Lack of inspections as determined by the manufacturer;4.3. Defects caused by negligent use of the vehicle / poor handling thereof;

4.4. Defects caused by the product being used in conjunction with/or connected to any other product that is not in proper condition;4.5. This warranty does not apply if the product has been opened, altered or repaired by any entity other than the manufacturer or if it has been repaired using subsequent unauthorized parts or if the product serial number is illegible;4.6. Failure to assemble in a specialized certified workshop;4.7. Assemblies carried out outside the manufacturer's compliance, namely applications, as well as those arising from damage caused voluntarily or involuntarily;4.8. Failure to send the warranty certificate (via email, fax or post) duly completed with registration number and KM within 20 working days from the date of delivery;

5. We reserve the right to:

5.1. In case of return:5.1.1. Collective Company, the amount of the return will be issued in a credit note;5.1.2. End customer, the amount will be issued within a maximum period of 30 business days from the arrival of the product at our facilities;

6. Procedures in case of breakdown:

This warranty does not apply if the product has been opened, altered or repaired by any entity other than the manufacturer or if it has been repaired using unauthorised subsequent parts or if the product serial number is illegible;4.6. Failure to assemble in a specialised certified workshop;4.7. Assemblies carried out outside the manufacturer's specifications, in particular applications, as well as those arising from damage caused voluntarily or involuntarily;4.8. Failure to send the warranty certificate (by email, fax or post) duly completed with registration number and KM within 20 working days from the date of delivery;4.9. Defective assembly of the torque converter, damaging the oil pump;

5. We reserve the right to:
